I would recommend Blush Beauty to anyone, I love treating myself to a hot stone massage or a luxury facial as I always come out feeling so relaxed and my skin glows for weeks afterwards. The ambience in the salon is unrivalled and the girls are pleasant and professional with excellent knowledge and skills. I regularly get a voucher for a signature treatment as a gift which is always such a great present to get from family and friends.

 

I attend Blush Beauty regularly for my Shellac nail paint which I am a big fan of. My Shellacs are always picture perfect and last longer than they did when I had them done in another salon and I am convinced it is all in the application, the girls are so conscientious which gives me great satisfaction.

 

I had read about micro-needling working wonders and out of sheer curiosity I booked a session. To be fair to Fiona, the owner of Blush, she is equally as superb a business woman as she is a beautician, regularly introducing new products and services in the salon but this medical micro-needling seemed way out there. I was a bit dubious about it but because I had done acupuncture before and had no fear of needles it was grand. Immediately I saw remarkable results and thought if that’s what one session does I’ll be a new woman by the end of the course. Since then I have been amazed by the amount of complements I have got and a couple of my friends booked in after seeing the results. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone who would like to subtly turn back the clock.

 

Like many women of my age group I didn’t respect the sun when I was younger as much as I should have and I am a self-confessed sun worshiper and it has taken a toll on my skin as I developed dark circles as my skin aged. I asked one of the girls about it casually when I was in one day and was amazed by their knowledge and insight into the layer of the skin and how it was superficial damage that was totally treatable with skin peels. I started a course of treatments and was amazed at the difference they made and I also noticed how I didn’t need to wear so much concealer and make up to cover the issue. My ‘brownies’ are now hardly noticeable without make up and I have changed foundation to a much lighter base which has taken years off me so I look and feel younger too, plus I am not as self-conscious as I used to be at all. I am so glad I asked that day and I cannot thank the team at Blush Beauty for the change in my skin since I have started going to them.

I work on my feet all day long and although veins have never been an issue thank God, I regularly get a build-up of hard skin on my feet and heels as a result which makes Summer time a nightmare. That was until I discovered Blush Beauty’s callus peels and I started to maintain my feet to offset the damage. A regular peel makes the world of difference so much so that I can now wear my fit-flops to work in the Summer months instead of hiding away in socks and shoes like I have done for years. I am very grateful to the gang in blush and find them all equally good and very nice to deal with. 

 

I have very sensitive skin and yet I like to have a nice tan when I am going to functions or on a night out. Blush Beauty have an amazing Irish owned tanning product called Bellamianta Tan which I find excellent. I love the shade and the girls always apply it perfectly and the great thing is it fades off ok too. I used to go where I could get an appointment and wasn’t fussy about what salon I went to but since I started going to Blush Beauty I only go there now and there is no comparison to the consistency of the tan I get there, no matter who applies it. It’s only a small thing but the girls always have the Bellamianta Tan ready to go when I am brought into the tanning room which I think shows a genuine interest and is a nice personal touch. 

 

I’ll be honest male waxing in Cashel is not probably the most profitable of treatments that Blush Beauty offer!!! For me it’s great the girls are very discrete and usually try to give me last appointments of the day so I don’t meet any of the women from town when I come out. I used to be very self-conscious about my back especially after training or on holidays, you’d laugh it off but deep down it was so embarrassing. Now I keep on top of it and I swim most evenings which I love, I wouldn’t do that if it wasn’t for the girls being so at ease with it and letting me know that it is very common.
